Hello.

This is Tanaka from the Suzuka store, a member of the Fishing Yu Shore Team!

The water temperature has dropped recently.

It’s quite challenging, but figuring it out is fun, so I went again!

Jig head: Cultiva’s   Mame Aji Dangan　0.8g

Worm: Reins’ Chibi Carrot Swamp   This time there was almost no wind.

I couldn’t see any horse mackerel, and predicting few chases, similar to last time, I started with a free fall count. I started with 10 counts.

My retrieve technique was the usual spring straight retrieve.

About one rotation every two seconds on a 1000PG reel.

I got a bite right away, but it was a very small bite.

Normally I would try to hook it, but with straight retrieve fishing, horse mackerel don’t suck it in well and it’s hard to get a hookup, so I let this bite go.

This is to avoid missing the hookset and losing depth, or spooking the fish.

That said, since it’s ajing (horse mackerel fishing), I almost instinctively set the hook, haha.

To improve the sensitivity of the retrieve, I keep the rod and line in a straight line, so when I get a bite that’s just enough to stop the retrieve, I set the hook right there!

It looks like it’s swallowed whole, but the hook is just barely in the tip of its mouth.

That means the bite is shallow.

So, with small bites, the hook isn’t sucked in and doesn’t get caught.

Keeping this in mind, I fished for about an hour and caught less than 10 fish. It’s really fun to tackle the challenges of ajing!

ジグヘッドはカルティバ様の豆アジ弾丸0.8g

ワームはレインズ様のチビキャロスワンプ

今回は風が殆どありませんでした。アジの姿も見えず前回と同様にチェイスも少ないと予測しフリーフォールでカウントします。

 

とりあえず10カウントから。誘いは春の恒例ただ巻き。1000PGのリールで2秒1回転くらい。

 

早速バイトしますがかなり小さいアタリ。普段なら掛けに行くんですがただ巻きの釣りはアジの吸い込みが悪く乗りにくいのでこのアタリはスルー。

 

下手にフッキングを空振りしレンジが外れたり、警戒心を与えない為です。とは言えアジングなので反射的に合わせそうになっちゃいます笑

 

巻き感度を上げる為ロッドとラインの角度を一直線にしていますので止められるくらいのアタリが来たらここでフッキング！

丸呑みに見えますがフックは口先ギリギリです。それだけ喰いが浅いってことです。なので小さいアタリではフックまで吸い込んでおらず掛からないんですね。

 

これを意識し1時間くらいやって10匹いないくらいかな。難しいアジング攻略はやっぱり楽しいですね！また行こ
